Measuring the impact of economic and environmental shocks on city and regional economies. Also developing the methodology of spatial econometrics and applying it to these problems. Applying spatial data analysis methods to understanding urban big data.
 
I am co-investigator at ESRC's Urban Big DATA centre, based at the University of Glasgow (http://ubdc.ac.uk/)

The Cambridge Centre for Data-Driven Discovery (C2D3) brings together researchers and expertise from across the academic departments and industry to drive research into the analysis, understanding and use of data science and AI. C2D3 is an Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge.
