Archaeology and Biological Anthropology is currently facing an unprecedented data deluge. New technologies, such as high resolution satellite imagery, 3D scanning & photogrammetry, and next generation DNA sequencing are reshaping the disciplinary landscape of the two fields. At the same time there is an increasing scholarly awareness concerning the opportunity and the challenges in (re)-using an extraordinary wealth of legacy data accumulated over 100 years of research. This one-day workshop will bring together archaeologists, biological anthropologists, and data scientist, offering a forum for discussion and the basis for fostering new collaborations within the University of Cambridge.

Further information and details on how to register for this workshop will be confirmed ASAP.
